About Me

 

I studied Visual Art and worked as a graphic designer for over a decade. My love for art led me to a passion for handmade craftsmanship. Creating has been my deepest source of healing and inspiration.

After 25 years of military life, traveling the world, our family finally settled in Hawaii. The beautiful, healing nature of the islands inspired me to create the “Ku’u Hawaii” Ocean & Garden Candles series.

​

In addition to my candle series, I have been crafting vegan skin products. My sons and I have extremely dry and sensitive skin. After years of searching for truly moisturizing products without satisfaction, I discovered the healing power of essential aroma oils combined with 100% vegan ingredients.

 

My soaps, shampoos, and skin products are customized with natural essential oils, herbs, and top-quality natural ingredients. For many years,

I have been blessed to enjoy making what I love while helping others.

A portion of our profits goes to charity. Thank you to my family and friends for their endless support and feedback, especially my sons, KC, and my husband, Richard, for being my biggest supporters and sources of love.

​시각디자인을 전공하고  한국과 미국에서 컴퓨터 그래픽 디자이너로 10년 넘게 일 하였으며, 늘 예술과 공예에 관심과 애정이 깊었습니다. 25년간의 군대 생활 뒤, 우리 가족은 하와이에 정착하게 되었고, 이곳의 아름다운 바다와 자연 치유력의 영감을 통해 12년만에 "쿠우하와이" 바다 & 가든 캔들 시리즈를 런칭 하였읍니다.

또한 건선과 아토피로 고생하는 저와 우리 아이들을 위한 해결 방법을 찾던중, 100% 천연 식물성 재료로 만든 수제 비누, 스킨, 로션, 립밤, 샴푸 등의 치유 효능과 허브와 꽃 추출물, 아로마 테라피의 힐링 능력을 더 깊이 배우고 공부하게 되었습니다. 한없이 부족한 저게 하와이 대학에서 친환경 제품 디자인 강의를 할수 있도록 도와주신 나의 멘토화 그 길을 인도하신 하나님께 깊은 감사를 드립니다.

제가 즐길 수있는 일을 하는 행복과 그것을 필요로 하는 많은 분들에게 작은 재능이 나마 나눌수 있는 기쁨에 늘 감사합니다. 수익금의 일부는 선교 헌금에 기부되고 있습니다.

늘 곁에서 격려와 응원을 아끼지 않는 가족과 친구들 특히 사랑하는 케이든과 카니 그리고 바위처럼 든든하게 지켜주는 남편, 리차드에게 사랑과 고마운 마음을 전합니다.
